Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.39%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.39%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 10.00% or 960.00 points to trade at 10,560.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) added 4.64% or 480.00 points to end at 10,820.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) was up 3.78% or 2,100.00 points to 57,700.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p), which fell 1.35% or 240.00 points to trade at 17,580.00 at the close. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) declined 1.05% or 45.00 points to end at 4,235.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) was down 0.92% or 140.00 points to 15,000.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) rose to 5-year highs; rising 10.00% or 960.00 to 10,560.00. Shares in Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) rose to 5-year highs; up 4.64% or 480.00 to 10,820.00.

US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.69% or 2.27 to $329.52 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.79% or 93.00 to hit $11,839.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 5.30 to trade at $2,633.50 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.86% to 4,373.91, while BRL/COP fell 0.81% to 706.42.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 108.00.
